In March/April 2018, the year of the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One, Kali will present a high profile season of staged readings in London of new plays on the theme of women’s experiences or untold stories from war or conflict across the globe.

We have invited UK based women writers of South Asian descent* to submit new plays relating to this theme for inclusion in the season.

Plays will be selected by a readers panel reading anonymous scripts. Selected writers will be offered a £1,500 seed corn commission fee plus support from a dramaturg and a 2 day workshop with actors to support the development and extending of their script for the season.

The deadline has now passed

Details of the plays to be presented, the schedule of performances and the venue will be on this page in December
