Friends of Kali

Great art doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone buys a writer a coffee, covers their travel, or gives them a day to focus. It happens because people like you believe in the stories that need to be told.

Becoming a Friend of Kali means you are part of that story. You're in the room with us - cheering on the writers, the actors, and the worlds we're building, and the audiences we're reaching.

Become a Patron

If you're able to give at a higher level, you can become a Kali Patron—someone who makes the big things possible. Your support directly commissions new plays, nurtures writers, and helps us take creative risks that would otherwise be impossible.

What your patronage makes possible:

£631.00 - covers a minimum salary for a week of R&D, allowing an artist to focus on creating new work
£1,102.40 – commissions a new play under 10 minutes
£3,790.05 – commissions a new play under 30 minutes
£7,577.62 – commissions a writer to write a play of less than 70 minutes
£11,380.08 – commissions a writer to write a full-length play (70+ minutes)

If you're interested in becoming a Patron for Life, or would like to discuss a larger commitment, please get in touch. We'd love to talk with you about the difference your support could make.

An elderly woman dressed in colorful traditional Indian attire, including a green blouse and red sari with gold patterns, is smiling and holding a decorated silk pouch or bag. She has a flower garland in her hair, earrings, and a bindi on her forehead. She is standing in a dimly lit room with stage lights, with a small table with a white lamp and a remote or device on it.
