The South Asian Diaspora Arts Archive, housed at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, is full of treasures which show us that we are standing on the shoulders of giants. Director Anna Himali Howard has been in residence with Kali Theatre, delving into unpublished plays from the South Asian canon. When we know the radical works that have gone before us, and no longer feel like the 'first' to do it, we can keep their legacy alive and move the artform forwards. Join us for a showcase of extracts, directed by Anna Himali Howard.
